730 1923年5月印度新金山中國渣打銀行「大葫蘆」伍拾員，港鈔珍罕名品，行用鈔更是難得一見。1923年版PMG現時僅評一枚。鈔票設計古樸優雅，正面中央葫蘆圖案有如時光隧道，讓人走進古老靜謐的田園美境，流連忘返。信是最美麗的香港紙鈔1923/05 The Chartered Bank of India, Australia & China $50 (Ma S23), s/n O/C143497. The vignette at front centre reminds us of the peaceful and idyllic world of the past. One of the rarest & probably the most beautiful HK banknotes. Only 7pcs graded by PMG for 1923-29. 731 1934年11月印度新金山中國渣打銀行「羅馬兵」伍拾圓行用鈔改臨時樣票，現時僅見一枚，極罕。背有字 所謂臨時樣票，專家認為係發鈔行急需樣票用來辨識偽鈔時，因缺乏一般的正式樣票，故臨時把行用鈔改成樣票以茲使用。現有這枚1934年11月發行的「羅馬兵」伍拾圓是最後一版，改成臨時樣票以取代正式樣票，現時所見僅得一枚，極為珍罕。1934/11 The Chartered Bank of India, Australia & China $50 issued note changed to Expedient Specimen (Ma S25), s/n UH021432. Extremely rare, most likely UNIQUE. PMG 30 expedient specimen, minor rust Expedient Specimens are specimens changed from issued notes. They have been used, as some numismatists suggest, to identify forgery notes when regular specimens were not available. The 1934/11 issue of $50 is the last of its series. Important Notice for
Bidders & Buyers
  1. Registration:
    Anyone who wish to bid should register with identity documents before the auction.
  2. Deposit:
    Bidder must pay HK$30,000 as deposit before receiving a numbered paddle. The deposit is refundable. Bidder who intends to bid lots with estimate above US$50,000 should contact Rarehouse before the auction. He may be asked to increase the amount of deposit.
  3. Sales Commission:
    19% of the hammer price will be charged as sales commission.
  4. Payment:
    We accept payment in cash of HK$, US$ or RMB. Exchange rate will be announced at the day of auction.
    Payment by cheque, bankdraft, credit card & wire transfer will also be accepted. All bank charges will be borne by the buyer himself.
  5. Collection of lots:
    Lots can be collected during or after the auction.
  6. Non-payment:
    If the Buyer fails to pay the Full Amount within forty five days after the date of sale, Rarehouse has the right to cancel the sale of all the lots won by the Buyer. The deposit advanced by the Buyer will be forfeited. The Buyer will not be allowed to participate in the future auctions of Rarehouse.
